Ah, water. Water! H2O, that life-giving element. Where would we be without it?
We drink it.
We swim in it.
We wash with it.
We photograph it.
Photos of water
Here are a few pictures of water, showing how it appears in nature and some of the ways we use it.

From the tiniest drop to the biggest ocean.
Ice, rain, snow, mist, clouds, lakes, seas, rivers, oceans, dewdrops… It’s all water. Water is everywhere.
We are water.
Depending on your gender and age, our bodies are well over 50% of water.
I love water
If I had to choose just one drink for the rest of my life, it would be water. Not coffee, or tea, or any other beverage. Just simple, plain water. Preferably from a natural spring, but good tap-water and bottled water are also very nice.
It’s such a simple, basic thing, that we almost take it for granted. But we notice immediately if ever it’s not there, or not in large enough quantities.
If we don’t drink enough our bodies get sluggish, or we get a headache.
If there’s no rain, the land goes dry and plants no longer grow.
So, I’m very grateful for the water in my life. And I’d like to say: “Thank you water. I love you!”
