A cozy little greenhouse built from old doors and windows. Inside a single chair stands invitingly.

Cozy Greenhouse

Something I’d love to build one day: a cozy little greenhouse. Imagine that, in your garden, a place to nurture new plants to life. A safe, sheltered space for them to grow healthy and strong.

And throughout the year you could have greens there, even in Winter when it’s cold.

And I imagine a chair in it, like in the photo, where you can sit on a sunny Spring or Autumn morning… when it’s still chilly outside, but the rays of the rising sun have already begun to warm this quiet nook behind the glass. Reading a book perhaps, or drawing a sketch maybe. Meditating perchance.

I’d love to build it from old, reclaimed materials: doors and windows that would otherwise be thrown away in the skip. Now a new life for them; giving life.

Did the photographer build this?

No, I was on a holiday and happened to just catch the light at the right time. It’s a very cozy little greenhouse.
